O inspiration where have you hidden? Why o why will you not come to me? Long and far have I searched for you, but it has all been a grand failure. My thesis is unwritten, and it is all because I have lost you, my sweet muse. Please come to me again, let my thoughts be guided by your divine touch!

The Capital of the World

Been to New York for a week. It truly is the capital of the world, this great city of mixed cultures. Loved it!

John Paul II

He was a good pope, the man who died last night. The world he left behind was a better one than the one he was born into in 1920. He contributed to this by fighting communism and promoting cooperation between religions.

On a personal note I can say that it will be strange to see another man as pope. John Paul II has been the pope my whole life. It will not be easy for anyone to take his place.

Also I can not help to wonder if he now have got his belief confirmed on the other side of death...? He spent his whole life serving God. What if he was wrong? What will he think if he wakes up on the other side facing some other God? One can only hope that if he was wrong, then it was in such a way that he never will know it. If there is nothing after death, then he will never know.
